We are located 1½ miles from London Heathrow International Airport.  Access to the airport from our guest house by car or inexpensive local taxi - booked by us for you, takes five minutes only. 

On arrival at Heathrow, call our West Drayton taxis, LHR Cars on 01895-444333 & arrange with them to be collected outside the Terminal - approx fare to West Drayton, £8.00.

We are on Excellent Motorway and public transport connections : Oakwood Lodge Guest House is extremely close to the M25, M4 and M40 motorways

A comprehensive Bus network serves our area of Uxbridge/ West London/ Stockley Park;  Bus Stops for the 222, U5 and U3 Buses close to the Guest House.



Take the U3 Bus from Stand 18 at Heathrow Central Bus Station, and pay the driver £2.00p fare, or show him an Oyster Card. (Unfortunately some bus drivers do not speak fluent English!). 5 buses every hour [one every 12 mins] normally, and this service runs until late at night, from the early hours of the morning.
Get off the U3 near the end of Swan Road, West Drayton. Walk down Swan Road to the T Junction - with a Spar supermarket to your left. Cross over & turn right into Station Road - towards Harmondsworth and Sipson. Walk past S. H. Harrold, Optician, then past 2 small Indian restaurants. Cross straight over Brandville Road and we are on your left - beyond silver-grey shutters, just before the 'Six Bells' Pub.

We are easily accessible from Terminal 5 by the 350 local Bus.
Get off the 350 Bus at the (Request) Bus stop beyond St Martin's Vet - by the tiny West Drayton Library.
Cross over Station Road and turn left. Walk past the black Texaco Garage and the "Six Bells" Pub, and we are just beyond the Pub on the left - before the silver-grey shutters.

IF FLYING INTO T4, HEATHROW: please take the free Heathrow Shuttle Bus from Terminal 4 to Heathrow Central Bus Station; take the U3 Bus to West Drayton from Stand 18, and follow the instructions for the U3 Bus - above.

 To travel to Oakwood by train, take a Thames Train, towards Reading, Oxford or Slough, normally from Platform 13 or 14, on far right-hand side of Paddington Station - 4 trains per hour mid-week, journey time 25 mins. Please check the platform screens carefully before boarding your train in London!

When leaving West Drayton Station via the Back exit: walk straight ahead into Warwick Road for a short way and then bear right toward the “Gentlemen’s Barber” shop. Turn left at the corner into Station Road by "Flowers by Ellisa" – opposite red Threshers shop, and you will then soon come to the Spar Supermarket, etc. - as above

London (South Kensington, Piccadilly Circus and Euston/ Kings Cross Stations) is also, alternatively, accessible by Piccadilly Line underground from Heathrow airport.
